SPIRITUAL ECOSYSTEM
What is the “Spiritual Ecosystem ”?
This seems like the right question to ask - What is the "Spiritual Ecosystem"?
The definition of “Spiritual Ecosystem” The deepest values and meanings by which people live by and connect to a larger spiritual reality combined with physical, transactional, and biological systems that function interdependently.
There are many forms of spirituality. This website is about spirituality.
There are many forms of religion. This website is not about religion.
There are many forms of ecology. This website is not about ecology.
There are many forms of systems. This website is in part about systems.
This website is about God, the Spiritual Divine. You can define God as you wish because every person's relationship with God is unique. There is only one God. Whether you believe it, or not, there is only one God.
We live in a physical world but it is infinitesimally small compared to the supernal worlds. Spirituality encompasses experiences of transcendent nature. The spiritual realm is vast and we reach it through our intention. Intention is everything. The impact of intention shows up in the physical world and in the spiritual plane. Time knows no bounds with the impact of intention travelling light years ahead and back through multiple incarnations. Emerson said, “The ancestor to every action is thought.” You could add, “The essence of every thought is intention.”
We are all on a spiritual journey traveling through the spiritual ecosystem. Some of us take care of our environment, some of us abuse it. The “success” of our spiritual journey is dependent on the people we surrounding ourselves by. Are you surrounding yourself with spiritually developed people who are on a quest to improve their personal spiritual ecosystem? When your Spiritual Ecosystem is in harmony, you are in a position to share vast riches with others. True wealth is the making of yourself with integrity in the spiritual realm coupled with successful physical transactions that allow the flow of resources to fill your ecosystem.
Many spiritual practices, health and wellness practices, yoga and physical fitness programs focus on breathing as a core component. The air in the ecosystem is crucial. You breathe air physically and without air, within minutes you expire (read: die). Inspiration, the breathing in, is part of the creative and living process. Spirituality is often experienced as a source of inspiration in life. The people and situations you are breathing into your life dictate your ability to expand effortlessly.
The right kind of people can help you on this spiritual journey. That requires being interdependent and in flow within the spiritual ecosystem. You act for yourself while simultaneously engaging others who can help you do your work both in your day to day livelihood and your spiritual growth.
The idea of the Tree of Life is relevant to many faiths and spiritual practices. The tree image is part of this website as it portrays a living tree with branches reaching high towards the heavens and the roots are below ground, buried firmly in Mother Earth. As is above, so is below.
The mystical symbol of the Tree of Life is how the Spiritual Ecosystem intersects with day-to-day reality. The Tree of Life is symbolic and represents life itself. Some think it is how the universe came into existence and how each experience goes through the evolution starting with the seed level, intention, whether conscious or unconscious, that blossoms into the final fruit or manifestation.
The cosmic tree of life is thought to connect all forms of creation. The cosmic tree of life channels the spiritual divine creativity into the physical ecosystem that surges through our lifeforce. In the physical ecosystem, blockages inhibit growth and movement that affect the higher levels of the spiritual ecosystem.
Spirituality in the Spiritual Ecosystem refers to an ultimate reality that is not seen with the physical eyes. The saying "May you see your world in your lifetime" is not seeing with physical eyes. It is seeing the truth with your heart (not your eyes), hearing with your heart, seeing with your ears. That is where intuition, gut instinct, and silent contact with the divine reign supreme.
What we think we see with our eyes is often called an illusion because it is such a small part of the spiritual ecosystem.
We choose our reality by what we focus on in the spiritual ecosystem. The spiritual inner path enables you to discover your true essence. On a soul level there is a need for meditation, prayer and quiet contemplation.
When you intend to expand and develop your inner life, meditation and prayer provide a feeling of connectedness with a larger reality of the spiritual ecosystem. Connection in the Spiritual Ecosystem is with the natural world, with the cosmos, with an expanded sense-of-self, with other people, with the human condition, and with the spiritual realm.
The Spiritual Ecosystem provides everything we need to survive and thrive. The physical needs of the business of living can be accessed with money transaction systems.
The emotional love and spiritual support systems can be accessed with simple acts. Try this one from Dr. Nathaniel Branden (thanks, Caleb for sharing this) -
Apply this “sentence completion” exercise to any form of relationship, romance, friendship, family, work associate:
“If I bring a higher level of consciousness to my relationship with [person’s name] …..
=> Now rapidly write 6-8 endings of the sentence. |
Your conscious creation connects you to the person you are writing about. How would you like to see the Spiritual Ecosystem with the person you wrote about evolve into a meaningful future? It is up to you to create the systems of connection in your life, on all levels within the Spiritual Ecosystem.

The flow of energy in the tree of life may experience obstacles or interference in the flow. As is above so it below. What is happening in the spiritual realm affects daily physical reality. When the flow is hindered or stops in any part of your life, health, love, happiness, wealth or on a spiritual soul level it is because there is an obstacle in your way. It must be moved so the flow can continue to be shared between person to person and between you and the divine.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions. The abundance is there as soon as the intention is created and even stated. The step in between, whether in this lifetime or a past life (as in the concept of reincarnation) depends on your free will to execute your intention. The abundance is in a holding pattern ready to be released with right actions within the spiritual ecosystem.
The ripe apple is ready to be harvested from the tree. It can wait in a box for weeks and weeks before going to market and finally show up in someone’s fruit salad.
That apple could be delivered by Federal Express® or the slow boat from China.
A person who hordes (probably out of fear) is blocking energy by not letting the material items move into the hands of those that can use and enjoy the energy of the object.
Sharing abundance a gift to both the giver and receiver of that abundance. Sharing is part of the circuit of transformation. If you horde your apples eventually they will rot. The Spiritual Ecosystem thrives on the harmony between movement and states of rest. True wisdom is knowing the difference of when to act and when to be still.
Our talents are forms of abundance to develop and to foster and share with others. It actually is for the benefit of another person. It is our responsibility to give that overabundance of talent as it is a blessing destined for another person. In the spiritual ecosystem, sharing keeps the health of system in top form.
The Spiritual Ecosystem is the flow of energy from one part of the system to another. From one person to another. There is interdependency. Disruptions to a physical ecosystem can be disastrous to all organisms within the ecosystem. The life forms a particular location typically, plants and animals make up the ecosystem. These plants and animals depend on each other to survive. In a delicate balance, these living things help to sustain one another in regular patterns.
In a physical ecosystem, shifts happen when a new plant or animal is introduced into an ecosystem, where it did not before exist. The new organism competes with the natural organisms from that location for available resources. These unnatural strangers can push other organisms out, causing them to become extinct. This can then affect still other organisms that depended on the extinct organism as a source of food.
In a spiritual ecosystem, there is no competition for the abundance of resources. Each person has talents and gifts to share. When you have more of a physical item such as financial abundance or personality trait such as empathy, compassion, wisdom, patience, someone to create harmony and coherence you have the opportunity to share that over-abundant item or trait. It is like you are holding onto an “extra-measure” of that item or trait just for the person who needs it.
In my case, it was brought to my attention that I had a special wisdom in emotional matters in helping men understand women, a concept that I called, filling her love bucket. The popular demand showed me that it was not about whether or not I “chose” to share my time and knowledge helping a man in pain in his relationship. The real understanding is, this abundance of wisdom I can share with a man “belongs” to this man who needs the information. It isn’t my knowledge, I am are simply the custodian or channel of information ready to deliver when a man asks for it. To appreciate the value of the transaction there can be a sales charge for the information. The action of a man coming to ask for help clears his blockage and enables him to receive from me what is actually his. He now has to understanding and information that helps him act more successfully by filling her love bucket.
Look at it this way, I am simply in a holding pattern to share this information that rightfully belongs to men. And to women. At times it is free and at times a man is not “entitled” to the information until he displays his acceptance of the VALUE by purchasing it. When you buy a book for example, you are not paying for the paper and ink, you are paying for the content.
With everything in life there is more one than one way to act or interact. The same applies to the spiritual ecosystem.
It is easy to be of the state of mind that your talent is YOURS. Your talent is your gift. If you develop, practice, train, put effort in to, and work on this talent, you think you own it. Your talent is a gift. So when a “transaction” takes place and you share your gift by your own volition, you are in the state of sharing. This is flow in the Spiritual Ecosystem.
Do you think it’s your choice whether or not to share your talent, and how much and how often?
If you do, your gift of talent when shared will improve others lives. BUT, this is the small way of thinking. It is limited.
The Spiritual Ecosystem is an expansive way of thinking and understanding that is the like the apple tree ready with gifts of fruit to be picked and shared. The tree is simply holding the nutrients in the apple to be eaten, absorbed, and become part of the person to consumes it. The apple is a gift held by the tree for you. The tree does not choose who it is holding the apple for. The tree is at service in the ecosystem for the animals and people to benefit from the blessing of the fruit.
There is a duty and responsibility to share your blessings. Your blessings are your talents and gifts whether natural or developed. We share our gifts as part of the FLOW of the Spiritual Ecosystem.
This is part of the conscious-mindset and even the omni-mindset. This conscious state of mind is part of the cycle that opens the spiritual pathway to receive blessings and material goods from other people and activates the constant flow of abundance.
There is a merit to receiving. When you are ready and open to the flow people, resources, blessings, begin to show up in your life. Merit according to the dictionary.com definition is something that deserves or justifies a reward or commendation; a commendable quality. The quality of the merit creates the opening for blessings, joy, lovematism, and fulfillment.
The flow of energy and sharing in the Spiritual Ecosystem is always available. Remove the blockages both physical and spiritual, in this lifetime or a past lifetime, and abundance is yours for you and to share with others.
Take stock in your talent and gifts. What is your INTENTION in sharing? Do you see yourself as being part of the spiritual ecosystem? Do you see that you have borrowed your talent and gifts for the purpose of returning them to the rightful owners whether they be your friends, family, customers or even strangers?
The shift in conscious mindset opens the flow in the Spiritual Ecosystem so that the participants enjoy the bounty of expansion and fulfillment that may be far beyond anything you have ever experienced in your life.
